Puli Kali – The Play of Tigers

These are some of the pics of Pulikali performance held on fourth day of Onam celebrations in Trissur, Kerala. It is a colorful recreational folk art where performers painted like tigers and hunters dance to the beats of instrument. The folk art is mainly practiced in Thrissur district of Kerala and Onam is the best time to get a glimpse of it !
